Turkish Delight Tour

This tour is for travellers who want to see Turkey on a shoestring. Step back in time and wander roads where Trojan, Greek, Roman and Anatolian warriors once trod. Marvel at the dramatic beauty of the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, marvel at the mythical natural wonders, visit underground cities and sleep in caves. This fully optional tour gives you the choice to do as much or as little as you want and you can only do all of this in Turkey!

Day 1 – Istanbul – Arrival Day
Arrive Istanbul,transfer to Hotel.Depending on your flight;dinner and overnighht at the hotel or in in the afternoon visit the Old City Walls of Istanbul.Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Blue Mosque.Later visit Hagia Sophia and the Byzantine Hippodrame and Topkapi Palace.The last visit of the day will be the Egyptian Spice Bazaar. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3
Drive along the sea of Marmara to the Gallipoli Peninsula.See Anzac Cove and visit Lone Pine Cemetry.Then cross the Dardanelles waterway by ferry boat to Canakkale. Dinner at hotel.

Day 4
Visit the ruins of Troy and continue for the visit ancient Pergamum continue to Kusadasi.Overnight in Kusadasi. Dinner at hotel.

Day 5
After breakfast depart for St.Mary’s House.Then drive to Ephesus.Continue onto Pamukkale for overnight stay.Enjoy a leisurely bath in the hotel.Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 6
Start the day by visiting Pamukkale later visit the ruins of the ancient city,Hierapolis a Roman health spa before continuing onto Antalya. Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Antalya.

Day 7
Start to full day excursion to Perge,Side and Aspendos.Dinner at hotel. Overnight Antalya.

Day 8
Through the Taursus Mountains,reach Konya and vist the Convent of the Whirling Dervishes before heading for Cappadocia.Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 9
After breakfast at the hotel,start the sightseeing of Cappadocia.Visit Goreme and underground city of Kaymakli.Dinner at hotel. Overnight Cappadocia.

Day 10
After breakfastdepart for AnkaraOn route vist Seljuk Caravanserai of Agzikarahan.Upon arrival to in Ankara, visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk.Then continue to museum of Anatolian Civilizations before driving for the hotel. Farewell dinner outside hotel.

Day 11 – Departure
Transfer to Ankara Airport for the flight home.

All transfers upon arrival and at departure.

8 nights HB accommodation in hotels mentioned in itinerary. 2 nights BB stay as Day 2 includes no dinner and on day 10 Farewell dinner is an outside hotel venue.
